Jay Wolfe Metalwork is a family business run by us: Jay & Jen. Jay is a metalworker and Jen runs the office.
Together with the rest of the team, our goal is to supply customers with high quality, honestly priced tanks.
Jay Wolfe started small and dreamt big. In 2004, whilst bringing up a couple of kids and renovating a Victorian town house, Jay decided to leave his job working for a large marine metalwork company and set up a fabrication business. Jay Wolfe Metalwork Ltd was born in the corner of a farmyard workshop. At the time, Jen was on maternity leave from her role in HR in a global cosmetics brand, and so did the admin and accounts from home in between sanding floorboards and going to toddler groups. Initially we did anything that came along, but soon realised there was a niche for metal tanks.
Currently Jay Wolfe specialises in bespoke stainless steel and aluminium marine fuel and water tanks. We have a CE marked range of standard sized metal marine tanks (ranging in size from 40 to 440 litres) that can be bought through our online tanks store www.shop4tanks.co.uk. We also sell marine chandlery through our online store www.floatyourboat.co.uk.
While a lot of what we do is linked to the marine industry, we support all areas of industry and private customers alike we make everything from balustrades to industrial mixing tanks, trollies and dip tanks. We don’t work with mild steel but if it’s stainless steel or aluminium then we’ll give it a go.
